The Trinity Gower D-Scribe and His Work on Two Early Canterbury Tales Manuscripts.

The scribe of University Library, London MS. V.88 (B text), who has been recognized in eleven other manuscripts (including eight manuscripts of the Confessio Amantis and two manuscripts of the Canterbury Tales) probably lived in London, but his persistent SW Midland forms suggest he had come to the capital from W. Worcestershire.
