About Us
The International Piers Plowman Society (IPPS) is dedicated to the study and teaching of Piers Plowman and related works; of the historical, religious, intellectual, codicological, and critical contexts of these works; and of their influence on poetry, thought, and culture. It actively promotes and supports interdisciplinary approaches to the poem and its author as well as generic, theological, socio-political, stylistic or literary, and iconographic studies.
