Piers Plowman B: Paragraphing in the Archetypal Copy

The omission of some paragraph-length passages from the alpha line of B descent and of others from the beta line of descent is frequently the result of eyeskip caused by paragraph-markings. This supports Kane and Donaldson’s beliefs that these omissions were the consequence of scribal error.
